From Battlefront comes a new episode in the Combat Mission saga, which has the title of Afghanistan and takes you to the Soviet-Afghan War between 1980 and 1989, where the most intense fighting took place between 1985 and 1987.

As a player in Combat Mission: Afghanistan you can take control of either the Soviet forces or the Afghanistan rebels. Two impressive campaigns cover the most active periods of the war, and another ten independent missions complete a game which will allow you to relive the horror and glory of the war.

If you haven't ever played any of the games in the saga, don't worry. Combat Mission: Afghanistan has been created as an independent chapter. As a new aspect with respect to other Combat Mission games, in Afghanistan you have a wide range of weapons which let you reach your targets, a new defence system and new gaming terrains like snow and water.
